I upgraded but can't see the Pro version

This article will explain what to do if you upgraded to Mealime Pro but can't see (or aren't sure about) the Pro features.

The quickest way to check if your upgrade to Mealime Pro went through successfully is to open the Settings menu and see if the Upgrade to Mealime Pro! button has changed to Subscription (or if you subscribed on our web app, the Subscription page will simply show your subscription details). If you see 'Subscription' (instead of 'Upgrade to Mealime Pro') you have successfully upgraded.

Here are some common upgrade issues and how to fix them:

iOS

Open up the Mealime app on your iPhone and navigate to Settings. If, at the top of the 'Settings' screen you see a button that says 'Subscription', you have successfully upgraded to Mealime Pro. (You should also have received a purchase confirmation email from Apple). You're now free to use all Mealime Pro features ( here's a list of Pro features).
If, however, after navigating to Settings you still see a button that says 'Upgrade to Mealime Pro!', and you didn't receive a purchase email from Apple, the subscription attempt likely failed. This can happen for a variety of reasons, but we suggest that you  make sure your iTunes credit card details are up-to-date and that you try subscribing again.
If you did receive a purchase confirmation email from Apple and you still see the 'Upgrade to Mealime Pro!' button in the 'Settings' screen, you'll want to try forcing Apple to upgrade the app for you. To do this, open Settings »  Upgrade to Mealime Pro! and scroll to the bottom. There you'll find a link that says Restore your subscription. Tap this link, and Apple should upgrade the app to the Pro version for you. 

Android

Open up the Mealime app on your Android device and navigate to Settings. If, at the top of the 'Settings' screen you see a button that says 'Subscription', you have successfully upgraded to Mealime Pro. (You should also have received a purchase confirmation email from Google). You're now free to use all Mealime Pro features ( here's a list of Pro features).
If, however, after navigating to Settings you still see a button that says 'Upgrade to Mealime Pro!',  and you didn't receive a purchase email from Google, the subscription attempt likely failed. This can happen for a variety of reasons, but we suggest that you  make sure your Google Play credit card details are up-to-date and that you try subscribing again.

Web

Open up the   web version of M ealime and navigate to Settings » Subscription. If you see your subscription details on this page, you have successfully upgraded to Mealime Pro. You're now free to use all Mealime Pro features ( here's a list of Pro features).
If, however, after navigating to 'Settings' » 'Subscription', you still see a button that says 'Upgrade to Mealime Pro!', the subscription attempt likely failed. This can happen for a variety of reasons, but we suggest that you try to subscribe again.
