How to swap meals

This article will explain how to customize your meal plans by using the 'swap' feature in the meal plan builder.

The meal plan builder gives you as much (or as little) customization as you want! When you open the meal plan builder, we'll start you off with a meal plan that we think could work well for you (based on your  eating preferences). If you're not satisfied with all of the meals in the plan, however, you can 'swap' the recipes until you create a plan that you're happy with. Here's how:

iOS / Android

Open up the Mealime app on your mobile device and tap New on the 'Meal Plan' screen. Choose the number of meals you want to cook and any favorite recipes you want to add (if applicable). Once your plan has been created, you can swap any meal by swiping (from right to left) on the meal itself. Here's what this looks like:

If you're not satisfied with the meal plan as a whole, you can generate a brand new plan by pulling down on the builder screen itself. Here's what this looks like:
Feel free to continue individually swapping meals or swapping your whole plan until you find one that you love. Then tap Done in the upper right hand corner of the builder to commit to the meal plan.

Web

Open up the  web version of Mealime and click the Start next meal plan button located on the 'Meal Plan' page. Choose the number of meals you want to cook and any favorite recipes you want to add (if applicable). Once your plan has been created, you can swap any meal by clicking on the meal itself.
If you're not satisfied with the meal plan as a whole, you can generate a brand new plan by clicking the Swap all button in the upper part of the builder.
Feel free to continue individually swapping meals or swapping your whole plan until you find one that you love. Then click Done in the upper right hand corner of the builder to commit to the meal plan.
